FAQs

A Scout is an individual who reports sports data directly from the venue. For example, they might report a touchdown or a fumble during a football game, or a buzzer-beater in Basketball.
To become a  Scout, you must be based near a covered college football or basketball team, as  you would need to report directly from the venue.
As a Scout, you will be compensated based on the number of games covered each month plus relevant reimbursed expenses.
We pay a base rate of USD 225 for each completed football game, USD 175 for basketball. Additionally, we pay a USD 300 success fee at the end of your first completed game. Taking college football as an example, if you cover 6 games in your first season, you will make 6 x USD 225 plus USD 300 bonus = USD 1,650. If you were to additionally cover college basketball, which can be an expected 15 or so home games, per season you would make a further USD 2,625.
Your application will be reviewed. If it is selected to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process, you will be contacted by the internal team responsible for an interview. During the interview, you’ll have the opportunity to introduce yourself and ask any questions you may have. If everyone is satisfied with the conversation, your application will move forward.

  • A passion for sports and an understanding of the game’s dynamics.
